Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales retreated 11.8% for the first seven months of 2019, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.

Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through July, capturing a 43.4% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (38.1%)  and Winnebago Industries Inc. (6.6%).

Class A registrations fell 15.4% for the seven months as Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 38.3% market share, ahead of Forest River (20.9%) and REV Recreation Group (12.4%).

In the Class C segment, sales declined 10.4% through July. Thor held the top spot with a 45.4% market share followed by Forest River (44.7%) and Winnebago (6.2%).
