Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales posted a 5% gain for 2018 as both Class A and Class C registrations showed single-digit gains.
According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc., Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader for the 12 months, capturing a 44.6% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (32.6%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (9.4%).
Class A registrations edged up 3% for the year as Thor led the category with a 35.6% market share, ahead of Forest River (21.7%) and REV Group (13.6%).
In the Class C segment, sales were up 6% in 2018. Thor held the top spot with a 49% market share followed by Forest River (37.8%) and Winnebago (8.7%).
