Screen Shot 2013-03-20 at 10.58.38 AMClass A retail sales continued to trend flat while C’s motored higher in November, as overall motorhome registrations edged up 1.3% while the segment showed a 12.3% gain year-to-date.

According to the latest report by Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through November with a 37.8% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. (24.9%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (17.2%).

November Class A motorhome sales fell 6.5%% from the previous year, while registrations rose 5% for the 11 months. Thor led the category with a 34.6% market share followed by Forest River (15.4%), Winnebago (14.6%) and REV Recreation Group (13.6%). Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. was No. 5, capturing 13.3% of the market.

Class C registrations grew 11.4% in November and were up 20% for the 11 months. Thor was the sales leader year-to-date with a 40.8% market share, followed by Forest River (33.8%) and Winnebago (19.7%).
