Class C’s continued to drive overall motorhome sales through the first seven months of 2017 as registrations grew 13.1% compared to the same period a year ago.

According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through July with a 41.5% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. (23.8%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (15.2%).

Class A motorhome sales were flat, up 0.4% year-to-date. Thor led the category for the seven months with a 34.3% market share followed by REV Recreation Group (14.5%), Forest River (14.3%), Winnebago (13.9%), and Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. (13.8%).

Class C sales gained 24.6% through July as Thor led the category with a 46.9% market share, followed by Forest River (30.8%) and Winnebago (16.1%).
