Van converter and auto industry supplier Starcraft Corp. reports it lost $1.8 million during the second quarter of its fiscal year, which ended April 1.
The company’s loss during the recently completed January-through-March period compares with a profit of $765,000 earned during the same period a year earlier.
Starcraft’s sales declined 36% during its second fiscal quarter to $23.2 million.
For the first half of its fiscal year 2001, Starcraft reported a loss of $3.9 million, compared with a profit of $2.8 million earned a year earlier.
Starcraft’s sales during the first half of its fiscal 2001 declined 42% to $42 million.
