Starcraft RV Inc. will have a 40,000 square foot addition to its laminated products facility in Topeka, Ind., in operation by June or July.
“We see increased production in laminated products as a viable trend in the industry and we want to be a major player,” said Starcraft RV President and CEO Don Walter.
The additional space will allow Starcraft RV to double its laminated materials production, added Ron Huggett, lamination plant manager.
The lamination plant expansion also will allow Starcraft RV’s customer service and sales and marketing departments to move into different buildings. Additionally, it will allow the maintenance department to expand. The result will be a “far more user friendly” atmosphere for visiting dealers and potential retail buyers, Walter said.
Starcraft RV is a closely held manufacturer of travel trailers, fifth-wheels, folding campers and truck campers. It is not affiliated with Starcraft Corp., the publicly traded auto industry supplier and van conversion manufacturer.
