Robert (Bob) Wyman announced this week that Goshen, Ind.-based Cozy Traveler Inc. would be increasing production and adding people to its work force starting immediately, according to a news release.
Cozy Traveler opened its doors earlier this year shipping its first units in April . The company focus is small lightweight towables meeting a growing segment of the RV market place. Since its first shipment of product, the company has enjoyed good growth in what others viewed as a down market.
“The really great news for our dealers is our products are retailing,” Wyman said. “Dealers have enjoyed great success in finding buyers for these smaller units.
Frank Morgan of Hufnagel & Majors, a dealership near Pittsburgh, Pa., said, “We have sold the Cozy Travler since May and our customers love the product. The folks at Cozy Travler go beyond in exceeding our customer’s expectations.”
Recently attending the Hershey Show in Pennsylvania and displaying at the RVDA Meeting in Las Vegas has given the new company a first time exposure to dealers. According to Ryan Newcomer, sales manager, the company signed up many new dealers at these shows. “The resulting orders have led to us making the decision to increase our production as we enter into the winter months,” he said.
Newcomer added that the company has been pleasantly surprised at the retail activity on small units this late in the season. Dealers continue to order products as they sell them. Orders have exceeded expectations which have led to the need to increase production at a time when others would be slowing for the winter. In addition there is also a large number of dealers who plan to order products from us at the Louisville show in December.
Cozy Traveler Inc. is a company privately owned by Robert and Ken Wyman. Product information can be obtained at www.cozytravelerrv.biz or by calling (574) 533-2600.
