November Class A and Class C retail sales showed slight gains over the year prior as motorized retail registrations inched up 2.1%, according to data from Grand Rapids, Mich., independent marketing firm Statistical Surveys Inc.
Overall November motorhome sales increased to 3,323 units from 3,255 a year ago. Year-to-date, motorhome registrations were 10.6% behind last year’s pace with 47,605 units sold versus 53,269.
November Class A sales were flat with 2,289 units sold compared to 2,266 last year and for the first 11 months registrations declined 14% to 29,713 units from 34,567.
For the month, Class C sales totaled 1,034 units compared with 989 in 2005 while year-to-date totals showed a 4.3% dip to 17,892 units sold versus 18,702.
