Stewart Lodges, an Ochlocknee, Ga.-based park model cabin manufacturer, has closed its Delta, Colo. manufacturing facility, leaving 80 people without jobs, according to the Rocky Mountain News.
Delta Area Development officials recently told the newspaper that Stewart Lodges closed the facility without complying with commitments it made to Delta County in exchange for economic incentives.
Deana Sheriff, executive director of Delta Area Development, Inc., also told reporters that her agency is considering legal action against Stewart Lodges.
Stewart Lodges representatives could not be reached for comment.
