The Stier’s RV unit of the Holiday Holdings Co. dealership alliance is expanding on several fronts in Southern California, including the planned opening of a location in Santa Fe Springs, according to Mike Stier, principal of Stier’s RV and regional president of Holiday Holdings.
Stier’s signed a long-term lease on a former car dealership location in Santa Fe Springs and will spend around $1 million to upgrade the property. The location will open as an exclusive Coachmen RV dealership in July or August, Stier said.
Meanwhile, at the company’s location in the Bakersfield Auto Mall, a 36,000-square-foot expansion to the parts and service department, including the addition of 22 service bays, is expected to be completed in 90 days, Stier said.
Construction of a new indoor showroom will begin in about 30 days in Valencia, at the American RV Outlet-Camping World location. That facility also will be renamed Stier’s American RV Outlet, he said.
Finally, the acquisition of Crown RV in Ventura should be completed next week. That dealership will retain the Crown RV name for 60 to 90 days before adopting the Stier’s RV name.
The dealership, which is in the Ventura Auto Mall, might relocate to another site in Ventura or neighboring Oxnard at some future date, Stier noted.
