Investor euphoria over the Federal Reserve’s decision last week to lower interest rates appears over. This was indicated by the sharp declines Tuesday by the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq composite.

The Nasdaq fell 43 points, or 2.1%, and the Dow declined 78 points, or 0.7%, on Tuesday.
