TACO-logo-for-web1The pace hasn’t slowed for registrations for the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) Spring Show, said Brian Schaeffer, executive director of the organization. “Reservations are coming in fast,” he told Woodall’s Campground Management, sister publication to RVBusiness. In fact, TACO expects this show, April 26-28 in Kerrville, to set an attendance record.

Of course, the fifth year of the Texas RV Park Awards of Excellence is a highlight of the show, with awards coming to the Texas RV Park of the Year in three size categories; the Brochure of the Year; the Website of the Year; Accommodations of the Year, again in three size categories; and the Supplier of the Year.

From marketing and online reputation management and RV park accessibility to the efforts of TACO and the state to promote tourism, “we’re taking a new tack with our speakers this year,” Schaeffer said. “Not quite so much nuts and bolts, more inspirational, forward-looking.”

The more than 50 exhibitors at the trade show will include TACO’s own booth. “We’ll have an amazing resource booth at the trade show,” Schaeffer said. TACO’s legislative consultant, the new legal team, a certified public accountant and, of course, the TACO staff will all be there. “If there’s any question anybody has about virtually anything, this is the place to go to get that answered,” he said.

Registration fees for members are $295 and $350 for nonmembers. For more information, click here.
