Sugarcreek, Ohio-based nüCamp is reporting steady growth in 2018, according to a report by The Budget.
“While we’ve experienced both the ups and downs of the RV industry this year we have been incredibly blessed with lots of positive growth,” said nüCamp President Joe Mullet. “The personal growth of our team and what we’ve been able to produce together is very exciting. We are still ahead of last year’s production.”
Sales for the first half of 2018 are up 36% compared to the same period in 2017. In addition, nüCamp’s workforce is on the rise, growing to 205 employees including 100 workers that joined the team in 2017 and 20 more this year. All operations, including manufacturing, marketing, and distribution are in-house and there are nine newly-created positions currently available.
Recent investments include solar power installed by a local company, and the purchase of a CNC Edgebander equipment, the first in all of North America. A total of 3 1/2 acres of land, adjacent to the current facility, were recently acquired with expansion plans slated for the next 12 to 18 months.
