TengoInternet has expanded its relationship with Chicago-based Equity LifeStyle Properties, a self-administered, self-managed, real estate investment trust (REIT), through an agreement to provide wireless Internet or Wi-Fi service for 33 additional ELS parks in eight states.
TengoInternet already provides Wi-Fi service to 14 ELS parks in Texas, Florida and California. The latest agreement, however, will boost TengoInternet’s coverage to include 47 ELS parks in five additional states, including Arizona, Maine, North Carolina, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
“The ELS contract is a significant achievement for TengoInternet,” said Eric Stumberg, president and CEO of Austin, Texas-based TengoInternet. “This deal expands our relationship with ELS and represents the largest single Wi-Fi deployment in the industry.”
TengoInternet spokesman Alicia Sankar said the Wi-Fi company hopes to further expand its relationship with ELS in the future. “One of the keys to our success has been our strong and reliable customer service,” she said. “As we continue to build relationships with our new ELS customers, we anticipate that the overall relationship will expand.”
TengoInternet is a leading wireless Internet service provider for the outdoor hospitality industry. ELS is one of the nation’s largest owners and operators of RV parks, owning or having an interest in 285 parks in 28 states and British Columbia with 106,337 sites.
