TengoInternet and the Florida Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds will offer a special half-day Wi-Fi workshop called WiFi That Works, scheduled for July 28 at Olde Mill Stream RV Resort in Umatilla, Fla.

The workshop, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (with lunch provided at noon), is designed to help RV resort and campground operators understand changes in consumer behavior which affect how Wi-Fi services must be delivered in order to meet business goals such as  improved guest ratings; reduced complaints; and increased occupancy, revenue and profitability. According to a press release, the session qualifies for Outdoor Hospitality Education Program (OHEP) credits and will include a review of the three key components of effective Wi-Fi:  Internet Service Provider (ISP); network equipment; and support and monitoring.

Following the WiFi education session, from 2:15 to 4 p.m., the Florida Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds will present additional programming, including an expert Q&A session on propane and electricity tax exemptions and sub-metering.  For more information and to register, contact Pat Radtke at [email protected] or (850) 562-7151.
