Terex RV Group President Gary Gunter

INDIANAPOLIS — Terex RV Group President Gary Gunter — whose Decatur, Ind.-based company’s brands includes American Coach, Fleetwood RV and Holiday Rambler as well as Renegade RV in Bristol, Ind. — has a very clear message for dealers during this week’s 2026 Dealer Summit at Lucas Oil Stadium: The motorhome manufacturer is in very good hands with its new parent company.

Terex Corporation, which merged with the former REV Group in February 2026 (see: “REV Group and Terex Complete ‘Defining Moment’ Merger”), is a global leader in specialized industrial vehicles such as fire trucks, ambulances, waste and recycling, utilities and construction, so Gunter said he is often asked what does that mean for the future of what is now being referred to as the Terex RV Group.

“I know whenever there’s change, people have questions. But what I want everybody to understand is we are very optimistic about the future. Terex brings tremendous resources and operational expertise for us. Most importantly, our focus remains the same: Supporting dealers, supporting customers and, again, continuing to make sure we’re building the best quality product,” said Gunter.

In fact, Terex President & CEO Simon Meester, while unable to attend the Dealer Summit this year, said in a video message that he’s looking forward to meeting dealers at next year’s summit.

Simon Meester

“I know many of you have had questions over the past few months, particularly with Terex and the REV merger. I’m happy to say that just after three months in, Terex and REV merger is going really well. We’re executing a clear battle-tested plan. … The integration progress is progressing as expected and the businesses are aligning really well,” Meester said.

“Just as importantly,” he continued, “I strongly believe that this culmination makes us a stronger partner for you. Terex brings scale, operational discipline and long-term stability. REV brings outstanding brands and expertise and strong customer relationships, especially in RV. And together it puts us in a stronger position to invest in our products, our operations, and the overall customer experience, which ultimately helps you sell with confidence.

“American Coach, Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler and Renegade are well-established brands with dedicated leadership teams behind them. And while integration work (continues), our RV teams remain fully focused on what matters most: execution, quality, service and supporting our dealers and customers every single day,” Meester added.

“As we look ahead, you can continue to sell these brands with confidence, rely on our teams, our warranties and our support. Expect (Terex) to continue to invest in the products, the factories and the experiences that matter most to your customers,” he concluded.

For his part, Gunter highlighted many of the investments the company has made to the RV Group, including an 81,000-square-foot facility on the Renegade campus and a new PDI facility in Decatur.

“We have focused heavily on strengthening the business from the inside out. A lot of that happens behind the scenes, but it matters because long-term success comes down to people, quality and execution,” Gunter said.

“And, finally, dealer relationships remains a huge priority for us,” he added. “We don’t view this as a transactional; we view it as a partnership. We’re only as strong as the dealers representing our brands. That’s why we invited you all here to Indy. That’s why improving dealer communication and launching the dealer portal has become such an important investment for us moving forward.”

2027 Model Year Product

Much of the remainder of the first full-day of the Dealer Summit was dedicated to introducing the 2027 model year lineup, which included a host of new floorplans and one new model: the 42’11″ Renegade Explorer TS, which rests on Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.’s new Cascadia 116 P5 platform and debuts with two floorplans (42RB and 42BB).

Chris Cook

“The difference between a standard Explorer and a TS, the big part here is going to be the Twin Screw, of course. Then we’re going to have a 125-watt generator, three ACs and a 30,000-pound capacity on towing,” said Renegade Director of Sales Chris Cook.

Beyond that, Cook highlighted other model year changes to the Renegade lineup, including new floorplans for the Villagio (25TB), Valencia (39FW), Veracruz (33VDs and 33VRS), and Verona (40VTR and 40VTB). In addition, Cook offered a brief overview of numerous interior and exterior upgrades.

“One thing that’s not going to change at Renegade is how we build a coach in terms of the core processes. The quality is first and foremost what we go after,” he said, before later introducing Renegade’s inaugural “Dealer Counsel.”

Providing an update on 2027 model year changes for American Coach, Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler was Doug Miller, director of sales. Suffice to say, he said, the company has “touched nearly every brand and model in an effort to continue to drive interest and innovation.”

American Eagle features a redesigned dashboard that offers 75% more walk-through space in front of the passenger seat, a new “fresco’ window next to the driver’s seat, two-tone wood options, standard Starlink and a host of other upgrades.

As far as the Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler sister lines, Miller again pointed out there were many innovations for the 2027 model year, including several new floorplans such as the Fleetwood Palisade 40H, a bath-and-a-half Class A on a tag-axle chassis. Other new models include the FW Discovery/HR Endeavor 38K, FW Frontier 39B, and the FW Altitude/HR Incline FS600D.

Miller also acknowledged the challenging environment, but noted that the Terex RV Group and its dealer partners are “all in this together and together is how we make it through difficult times.”

The 2026 Dealer Summit continues today, with additional opportunities for dealers to meet with reps and review the several dozen motorhomes on display outside Lucas Oil Stadium as well as a golf outing and/or race track test drives with Meyer Shank Racing.
