High-end fifth-wheel manufacturer Teton Homes Inc. has added the Reliance quad-slide rear bedroom floorplan to its Royal and Grand series for 2005.
Also new for 2005 in the widebody Royal and Grand are fluted interior columns in large slideouts and contoured corners on kitchen and bath countertops, bedroom dressers and desks.
“We wanted to soften the lines to get away from the boxy look,” said Marion Johnson, director of engineering for the Casper Wyo., company. With 8-foot ceilings in the main coach and 6 1/2 feet of headroom in the slideouts, both lines feature vacu-bonded high-gloss composite fiberglass sidewalls with wood superstructures and felt-backed vinyl poly-film roof membranes. Optional marble floors are available in the Royal for 2005. Natural maple and cherry-stained maple also are available for the first time in 2005 in both models. Base retail prices for the Royal are $100,000 to $127,000; and for the Grand, $74,000 to $92,000. Both are available in 10 floorplans, ranging in size from 33 to 44 1/2 feet.
