Thetford/Norcold, a supplier of sanitation and refrigeration equipment to the RV and leisure marine industries, has acquired Wilcox Crittenden of Middletown, R.I.
Terms of the transaction, which became effective Saturday (Nov. 1), were not revealed.
Wilcox Crittenden, founded in 1847, manufactures and distributes a complete line of electric and manual marine sanitation systems, along with specialized marine and industrial hardware, including Aravon marine plumbing fixtures and Metalstyle lighting products.
Combining Wilcox Crittenden with Thetford/Norcold “provides synergies, including a complete marine product offering, an expanded RV sanitation offering and extensive distribution channels,” said Mike Harris, president and CEO of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Thetford/Norcold.
