Police in Michgan are investigating the theft of high-end televisions from recreational vehicles at a Lansing-area RV dealership.

More than half-dozen such thefts have occured in the last year in several areas of the country,  including Florida, Mississippi, Texas and Elkhart County, Ind. Few of the thieves have been caught.

In the most recent incident, the Lansing, Mich., State Journal reported that an unspecified number of flat-screen televisions were stolen last week from Kitsmiller RV Inc. in Holt, Mich., according to deputies with the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say more than two dozen RVs were broken into between Oct. 10 and Oct. 15 by a vandal or vandals who broke windows or pried doors.

 Physical evidence was recovered, and the sheriff’s office is asking for anyone who may have information to contact them at 517-676-8251.
