The stocks of Thor Industries Inc. and Drew Industries Inc. both reached new 52-week highs today (Jan. 3), and the stock price of Coachmen Industries Inc., another major RV builder, also inched closer to a new 52-week high.
Thor, which, today, revealed strong towable RV sales results for November and December, saw its stock gain $2.85 a share, or 7.5%, to close at $40.60 in New York Stock Exchange trading. Earlier today, Thor stock climbed as high as $41.10 a share, passing its previous 52-week high of $40.75.
Meanwhile, supplier firm Drew, which owns towable RV chassis supplier Lippert Components, saw its shares gain 20 cents today to close at $11.10 a share. Its previous 52-week high was $10.90, which was set Wednesday (Jan. 2).
Coachmen stock gained 97 cents, or 8%, in New York Stock Exchange trading today to close at $13.23 a share, which is approaching its 52-week high of $13.65.
