Thor stock gained 1 9/32, or 6.1%, in New York Stock Exchange trading Monday, apparently because Coachmen warned Wall Street that its second quarter earnings would be lower than what was expected.

Thor, which tried to takeover Coachmen during May, closed at 22 1/4.

Meanwhile, Coachmen declined 5/16 to close at 11 3/16.

On the broader market, the Nasdaq composite and Dow Jones Industrial average both gained during the abbreviated day of trading Monday. The Nasdaq gained 26 points, or 0.7%, while the Dow climbed 113 points, or 1.1%.
