Investors pushed Thor Industries Inc. stock up to a new 52-week high during mid-day trading after the company reported record high earnings for its third fiscal quarter, which ended April 30.
Around noon today (May 22) Eastern Time, Thor stock was up $1.33 a share to $64.80. The New York Stock Exchange-listed company’s previous 52-week high was $64.40, set on Monday (May 20).
Thor issued its earnings report about an hour after the market opened today.
Meanwhile, the stock of towable RV and manufactured home builder Kit Manufacturing Co. was up 55 cents, or 17%, as of mid-day today to $3.80 a share. Kit’s 52-week high is $3.95.
On Tuesday, Kit announced it had hired an investment banking company to explore several strategic alternatives, including finding a merger partner or a possible sale of the company.
