Thor Industries Inc. stock passed the $60 a share milestone today (Oct. 3) and several other RV company stocks also posted strong gains.
Thor’s stock gained $1.80 a share in New York Stock Exchange-trading to close at $60.70, after setting a new 52-week high of $61.45 a share earlier in today’s trading session.
The previous 52-week high for Thor’s stock was $59.38 reached on Thursday (Oct. 2).
Thor’s stock reached as high as $71.97 a share on July 8, 2002, but the stock was split 2-for-1 effective July 9, 2002, when the price was adjusted to $35.99 a share.
Thor’s stock price has climbed 69% since the stock split a little over a year-ago.
Meanwhile, investors also bid up the share prices of Winnebago Industries Inc., Monaco Coach Corp. and Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.
Winnebago’s stock gained $2.37 a share, or 5%, today to close at $48.75 and Monaco’s climbed $1.03 a share, or 6% higher to close at $18.03.
Fleetwood’s stock also gained 49 cents, or 5%, to close at $9.91 a share.
