Leisure Systems Inc. (LSI) kicks off “campground meeting month” with its annual Symposium Nov. 3-6 at the Embassy Suites and Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Ky.
The annual symposium – the first of three major gatherings in November for the campground industry – brings together the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts franchisees for four days of educational workshops, meetings, a look at new Yogi Bear merchandise plus awards and the usual socializing.
Occurring within days of the Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) Jamboree in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) InSites Convention & Hospitality Expo, Nov. 12-15 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel and Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn., LSI said its symposium attracts nearly 100% attendance among the 73 franchisees, making the gathering truly unique in the industry.
The LSI symposium formally kicks off Monday with a noon luncheon, followed by a general session. Gregg Catalano will offer his keynote address Tuesday on “Prescription for Living an Energized Life” and will also present “Leadership in the New Millennium.”
Dan O’Connell, former owner of Amboy Jellystone Park, will explain the pro¬cess in obtaining business loans for new projects and park expansion.
A trade show, featuring more than 70 vendors, will run throughout the event along with a slate of workshops and seminars.
