Three prominent dealerships recently pledged funds to the RVDA Education Foundation Inc.’s RV Learning Center.
Contributors include:
• Bill Plemmons RV World in Rural Hall, N.C., donated $25,000. “We are extremely pleased to add the RV Learning Center to the charities we support,” said Steve Plemmons. “The RV Learning Center provides dealerships with important resources that help employees become top performers.”
• Crosby and Mary Virginia Forrest of Dixie RV Superstore in Newport News, Va., also pledged $25,000. “Crosby and Mary Virginia Forrest have a long track record of service to RV dealers, the industry, and their community,” said RVDA Education Foundation Chairman Rick Horsey of Parkview RV Center, Smyrna, Del. “We are pleased to accept this pledge and their support for the RV Learning Center.”
• McClain’s RV Superstore in Lake Dallas, Tex., donated an additional $5,000 to the RV Learning Center, raising the dealership’s total contribution to $21,000. “The RV Learning Center is the very best investment we can make in the RV industry,” said Larry McClain, owner of the dealership. “We are proud to support an institution that will meet the need for better trained RV dealership employees.”
The RV Learning Center provides dealers and their employees with ways to operate RV dealerships through an array of education resources including publications, distance learning, live workshops, online products, training, and certification programs for RV dealership personnel.
