Tiffin Motor Homes Inc. President and CEO Bob Tiffin detailed in a letter Red Bay, Ala.-based company’s recent restructuring to improve efficiencies and maintain growth, including the appointment of Tim Tiffin as vice president of operations and general manager to oversee Class C operations at a new facility in Winfield, Ala., and its Wayfarer line of coaches.

“The board of directors of Tiffin Motor Homes has been in the process for some time of preparing our company for the future,” he stated. “In recent years we have brought the Vanleigh plant in Bumsville, which builds towables, into our company and have constructed a new plant in Winfield to build Class C motorhomes. We have enjoyed great success, and built a solid reputation for quality and service, over the past 47 years.

“In light of this tradition of excellence, and our desire for this to continue in the future, the board is making some changes in how our company is structured. Our sales are good, our company is healthy, and we have a loyal base of customers who have been using our coaches for many years. These changes by the board were implemented in order to continue to grow our company in the future.

In addition, Van Tiffin will serve as vice president of operations for the company’s Class A operations at the builder’s Red Bay and Belmont production facilities. Andy Baer has been named general manager of these facilities while Brad Witt will serve as director of fixed operations.

The board also confirmed that Lex Tiffin will remain as vice president of supply chain maintenance, repair and operations, and Leigh Tiffin will remain as general manager of Vanleigh RV. Bob Tiffin will remain as president and CEO of the company and will continue to work with the company’s customers and its service center facility in Red Bay.
