Adventure Manufacturing Inc., DBA Timberland RV, Peru, Ind., for 2005 has redesigned its lightweight Riverside towable line as a conventional, competitively price wood-and-aluminum travel trailer and fifth-wheel series in lengths of 18 to 30 feet. “We are recognizing consumer trends,” said Jerry Sell, director of sales. “The Riverside will compete against the lowest entry-level priced stick-and-tin trailers on the market.” Offered in nine travel trailer and three fifth-wheel floorplans, Riverside will retail for $13,000 to $19,000 with few options. Standard are awnings, air conditioning, microwaves and stereo systems and other amenities. “It is a full-function coach, even at an entry level price point,” Sell said. Also for 2005, Adventure is marketing the new Timberlodge Camping Edition (CE), an affordable eight-foot-wide, wood-and-aluminum towable line. Retailing from $14,000, Timberlodge CE is available if five travel trailer and three fifth-wheel floorplans – all with single slideouts – in 16- to 30-foot lengths.
