The new building will contain 70,000 square feet, significantly more than the 25,000 feet Titan now has on Gateway Drive in the Northport Industrial Park off C.R. 5, north of Elkhart Municipal Airport.

”I’m kind of the Amway story,” President Tobin Goode said, referring to the huge global retailer’s humble beginnings. “We started out in my house, built it up. We moved … this will be our fifth move since we opened.”

Titan bought its current building in April 2012 and needing more space, leased a second structure behind it in July 2013.

“I thought, ‘we’re more than doubling the size of our building, this is going to last us a long time,’” he said of the last move. “I never imagined I would be building a building less than three years later.”

Titan Sales and Consulting distributes adhesives and tapes and cuts larger logs of foam and high-bond tapes down into smaller rolls for customers. RV makers comprise about 55% of its business, while 25% comes from cargo trailers, and the rest from miscellaneous sources, including RV suppliers.
