Thor Motor Coach (TMC) 2016 motorhomes are arriving at dealerships across the United States and Canada. The Elkhart, Ind.-based company reported in a release that the diverse product lineup is made to fit Class C motorhome buyers with a variety of unique styles, sizes and floorplans that feel custom-made – at a truly competitive price.

New for 2016 is the Class C 22B floorplan in TMC’s Four Winds and Chateau brands. The 22B provides a spacious living area with a large booth dinette that easily accommodates four full-sized adults. The kitchen has ample counter space and many storage areas not normally found in a coach of this size. The bed slideout features a queen-sized Denver Mattress with plenty of walk-around space.

TMC upgraded the cabs in the Four Winds and Chateau Super C diesel motorhomes with new luxury cloth captain’s chairs, power driver’s seat, adjustable accelerator and brake pedals, and a center fold-down console. The 2016 line also features a host of interior décor and electronics upgrades including larger 40-inch TVs in the living area on most floorplans and 32-inch TVs in the bedroom. The 35SB bunk bed floorplan is now standard with an exterior kitchen featuring a 2.6-cubic foot refrigerator, sink, countertop workspace and stainless steel gas grill.

TMC’s Citation and Siesta Mercedes-Benz Class B-plus motorhomes received many upgrades including handcrafted high-gloss glazed cabinetry. The Amish crafted cabinetry is glazed with a highly polished finish for a look and feel found in higher-end diesel pushers. Larger televisions have been added on select floorplans and in the 24ST model, optional reclining theater seating makes consumers feel right at home.

TMC’s Outlaw Class C 29H toy hauler continues to attract consumers with modern design elements such as a stainless steel sink in the bathroom, and a decorative backsplash in the kitchen that matches the smoked acrylic refrigerator doors. In the rear of the coach, the addition of a stainless steel storage cabinet highlights how consumers use it as a garage, but with the ramp door that converts into a patio deck, the optional jack-knife sofas, and optional bug screen curtain, it can easily convert into the hottest hangout in the campground.

“We’re constantly in the mindset of innovating, whether it’s regarding functionality or drivability,” said Joel Grimm, gas division national sales manager. “The changes made to the 2016 lineup are in response to owners and dealers sharing their thoughts and ideas with our sales managers. It’s a process that’s definitely appreciated by me and hopefully by potential owners.”
