Richmond, Ind.-based Tom Raper RV has moved across state lines to Fairfield, Ohio to open its second location. A grand opening, held over the March 13 weekend, included discounts to the first 100 customers who walked through the door each day. In addition, more than $15,000 in prizes will be awarded throughout this week.
According to a report in the Hamilton Journal-News, the new site offers over 40,000 square feet of showroom space along with the biggest recreational vehicle parts department in the area.
Advertising Director Steve Kryder said the new location is intended to cater to the Greater Cincinnati market and noted that Fairfield’s Ohio 4 draws more than 40,000 cars on a daily basis.
“It’s really for the Cincinnati market,” Kryder said. “There’s no good way for people to travel from Cincinnati to Richmond.”
Tom Raper’s Richmond location sits on 60-acre complex in Indiana near the Ohio state line along I-70.
