Indianapolis-based Touchdown RV Rentals has continued to grow its fleet since its founding in February of 2014. According to a press release, the company has expanded its fleet from two vehicles to 14 RVs, including four Class A and four Class C motorhomes along with six travel trailers of various sizes and weights.
“During the summer months, every RV is booked, every weekend. It’s an indication that we could use more units,” reported owner Keith Dix.
Encouraged by the steady growth, Dix said the company is planning its next phase in which Touchdown RV will rent recreational vehicles from other RV rental providers with a revenue split.
“Typical RVs owned in the U.S. sit an average of 11 months out of year. That statistic was just one of the reasons that inspired me to start the company,” he added. “Partnering with another RV owner for rental that would otherwise sit parked is fantastic way for an owner help pay for their unit and give my customers what they are looking for.”
Touchdown RV Rentals is a member of the Recreation Vehicle Rental Association (RVRA).
