After three days in DeVos Place, organizers of the annual RV show in Grand Rapids say their business is getting better.

The Fourth Annual Camper, Travel and RV show is the largest in the state, according to WZZM-TV, Grand Rapids.

The industry has gone through some tough times because of the economy.

But this weekend, organizers say numbers at the gate are up and so are the sales, giving the industry a nice bump.

“Last year, the RV dealers at the end of the summer were starting to see the market come back and people getting interested in buying again,” said Mike Wilbraham, show manager. “They were a little concerned that it might just be a blip, but it’s continuing on.”

Wilbraham says travel trailers had the most sales at the show. That’s because they are easy to operate.

Sales of the big RV’s are also up.

Wilbraham says they had record attendance at the RV show all weekend.
