With 70 years of experience in the European RV industry, the Truma North American headquarters is now open just minutes west of the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Ind. The facility, which broke ground last November, allows the supplier to “put down roots” in the North American RV market, according to a press release.
“After beginning business in North America in 2014, we quickly realized that Truma could be very successful in the North American market and began making plans to build a permanent space in Elkhart. We wanted to build in the heart of the RV industry to provide the best service to our customers. Our focus for this project was to design a facility to bring all of our offices, warehousing, sales and service under one roof,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO of Truma North America.
The company is inviting attendees during the Elkhart RV Open House to stop by and get a sneak peak of Truma’s new headquarters while enjoying some refreshments. The state of the art Truma headquarters includes a beautiful showroom, a full sales and service center with overnight accommodations for customers, the Truma Education Center, a climate chamber and a synergetic office space. Truma’s sister company, Alde, is also housed in the new facility.
