United Shade has named a new OEM sales manager while creating new positions to further expand its aftermarket sales opportunities and to enhance operational control of its wide-ranging product lines.
According to a press release changes include:
• United Shade General Manager Bob Keller announced the addition of Gregg Eash as its new RV/OEM sales manager. Eash was formerly associated with Dicor Corp.’s Alta Resources Division, which was divested by Dicor in 2010. Eash has 17 years of experience with the RV industry in sales and general manager positions. “Gregg brings a record of growth, stability and personal involvement,” said Keller. “United Shade is very fortunate to enlist an individual of Gregg’s ability, integrity and diversity.”
• United Shade’s current OEM sales manager, Tina Sharkey, will assume a new position dedicated to expanding the United Shade aftermarket program to “develop more opportunities for the company in this segment, which offers a tremendous potential for growth and profitability,” said Keller. With the proper focus, dedication and marketing in this sector, Keller projects that “sales could quadruple current levels in the not too distant future,” adding “Tina has been an aftermarket advocate for years and is eager to make United Shade a major player in this related industry.”
• In a move to provide greater operational control of United Shade’s product offerings, Julie Hunt will be charged with responsibility for all Information Technology and Data Control processes to ensure the system’s integrity through interdepartmental communication and analysis. This includes managing United Shade’s newly installed computer system for managing operations. “This is an enormous task and requires someone of Julie’s knowledge, experience and intelligence to organize and maintain,” said Keller. “Her dedication and commitment to this assignment will provide management at all levels with the accurate information necessary to improve operating results.”
