Keystone RV Co. President Matt Zimmerman received the Arthur J. Decio Volunteer of the Year Award recently for “being an outstanding example of what it means to generously give, advocate, and volunteer in the community,” according to a report by The Elkhart Truth.

The award was presented to Zimmerman by Art Decio at the recent United Way of Elkhart County 7th Annual Awards Ceremony, which recognized individuals and companies who made an impact in the community this past year.

In addition, Hero Awards were presented to companies that gave on a level 20% or greater than the previous year, including Gulf Stream Coach, Quality Drive-Away, Fairmont Homes, Robert Weed, and Smoker Craft.

Also, 10 companies raised approximately $960,000 to support families, children, teens and older adults, and those who are disabled, ill or discouraged – to bring hope, healing and help. Among the companies receiving the Top 10 Award were: Keystone RV, Utilimaster, LaSalle Bristol, Smoker Craft, and Thor Industries Corporate Office.
