Industry supplier Lippert Components Inc. is seeking to fill 300 jobs in a variety of manufacturing positions during a job fair today (March 19) in Goshen, Ind.

The hiring event, hosted by WorkOne of Northern Indiana, is running from noon to 4 p.m. at the Old Bag Factory. According to the agency, starting pay ranges from $9 to $12 per hour.

Positions include splice line welders, jig welders, finish welders, warehouse and assembly managers, supervisors, fork-lift operators, cycle counters, maintenance workers, janitors, glass pickers, saw operators, parts benders, hole punchers, framers, vinyl applicators, cleaners, assembly, preppers and primers.

For some positions no experience is necessary. For those wanting to learn to weld, the company will offer training.

Lippert has been in growth mode with several acquisitions and expansions over the past year. Most recently, the company announced it was leasing the former A.J. Wright distribution center on South Bend’s west side that would result in 180 jobs in the next year, with the possibility of adding hundreds more in coming years.
