Celebrating its 40th year, the annual Valley RV & Camping Show returns to the South Bend Century Center, opening today and running through Sunday.
According to a press release, this is the first Indiana show of 2014 and will feature RVs from five of Northern Indiana’s top dealers. The event is sponsored by the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association and Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council.
The show features a variety of lightweight to full-size travel trailers, fifth-wheels, toy haulers and motorhomes.
Matt Rose, director of Recreation Vehicles with the RVIC said that the RV industry is currently enjoying tremendous success with shipment numbers at a six-year high.
“RVing is a fun, flexible and affordable way for families to spend quality time in the outdoors,” said Rose. “In addition to vacation travel, owners use RVs for tailgating, traveling with pets and to participate in outdoor sports and other leisure activities.”
The Valley RV & Camping Show will include campground exhibits and an RV parts store. RV factory reps will also be on hand.
