The sharp decline in dealer orders of converted vans and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) continued during June, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
Van conversion shipments were down 33.3% in June to 7,000 units and deliveries of converted SUVs were down 69.2% to 400 units.
Pickup truck conversion shipments were flat at 3,300 units in June, the RVIA reported.
During the first half of this year, van conversion shipments were down 22% to 43,600 units and SUV conversion deliveries were down 47.2% to 3,800 units.
Shipments of converted pickups were up 8.2% to 19,800 units.
