HERSHEY, Pa. – Manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, vendors and members of all other segments of the RV and campground industries currently attending the America’s Largest RV Show, which takes place today through Sunday at the Giant Center, all have something in common – a sense of excitement for the 2026 “Hershey RV Show.”
While potential buyers will not show up until tomorrow, today’s Industry Day has already brought with it a sense of hope, according to those interviewed by RVBusiness.
Among the optimists are Dometic Marketing Director Brian Noble.
“I am feeling great about this year’s show,” he told RVBusiness. “We have all kinds of new pieces that we are bringing to market. We are also hosting a speaker series which will feature our products and help us have conversations with the consumer side. This allows us to tackle the consumer side way differently. We have a great brand and we have had great products for a long time, but we feel like we have not always maintained the same mind-space with consumers. Our job is to grow that and improve that.”
Dometic is also helping buyers get excited about the RV lifestyle.
“We are giving people the change to bang a gong we have set up in front of our display, because this is a big moment for them and we want to help them celebrate,” he said. “It also lets us learn more about their travel plans and what products they might need to stay on the road longer.”
Marland Anderson, regional sales manager for Valterra Products’ TireMinder, said he was happy to see this morning’s crowd size.
“I am ready to get a lot of great information to the companies and consumers in attendance this week,” he said. “We are part of the larger conversation around safety. Our work helps people protect these beautiful RVs they have invested in, and more importantly, it helps keep everyone safe.”
Renogy Senior Sales Executive Jeff Johns is also excited for this year’s show.
“I have high expectations for Hershey,” he said. “We have great weather – not like last year’s heat which I think impacted the crowd size. The Renogy team is looking forward to a great week.”
Don Bennett, Jr., principal of Merchantry Tourism and co-owner of Anderson Brochure Distribution Service, is excited to help promote the campground industry.
“After looking at the show and seeing everyone hustling around, I’m very excited for another great year,” he told RVBusiness. “Everyone always does such a great job with this show – from the manufacturers to PRVCA, who organize it every year. They do a top-notch job hosting this event. We look forward to it every year. Tampa and Hershey are the industry ‘Super Bowl’ shows.”
Cummins Account Manager Jen Pendley said her team is feeling motivated and eager to connect with consumers at this year’s show.
“We have some new products we are very excited to share, including our inverter dual fuel generators,” she said.
According to Cummins officials, the iDF models can give OEMs more flexibility across different coach designs instead of needing fundamentally different generator solutions.
Celebrating his company’s first time at the Hershey show is Jake Simmons, a sales representative for My RV Mail. The Florida native is looking forward to making connections with consumers.
“This is my first time coming north and I am excited to see what happens,” he said. “We always go to the Tampa show, so I am used to big crowds. I would say I am most excited about promoting our business and letting travelers know what we can do for them.”
Industry Day continues until 4 p.m. The gates to America’s Largest RV Show open to the public at 9 a.m., tomorrow, Sept. 16.
