Italy-based Vitrifrigo, a supplier of refrigeration and cooling systems for mobile applications, has been building its presence in the U.S. RV industry over the past year, according to a press release.
Nelson Pinheiro, director of sales and marketing for the company’s U.S. operations said, “We will be showcasing our products at the supplier exhibit inside the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum during the Dealer Open House Week that will be held September 23-26 this year. We are also speaking to several OEMs and hope to have some of our refrigerators in their new Type B and Type C motorhomes while also having some travel trailers on display.”
The new DRW180A all-in-one compressor drawer refrigerator system offers multiple configurations including having one drawer as a refrigerator, one draweer as a freezer, or both as refrigerators or freezers. The units require no outside venting and will provide offer floorplan flexibility by putting the units in islands and peninsula cabinets. The units also feature stainless-steel finish with a vented panel and integrated door catch.
The Slim 150 is already exclusive on a few camper vans that will be introduced shortlyand is applicable to Class B and C motorhomes built on the Mercedes-Benz, RAM ProMaster and Ford Transit chassis.
Pinheiro noted, “OEMs that want to evaluate the Vitrifrigo products versus what they are currently building into their RVs can call me directly and we will provide them an evaluation unit after establishing parameters they want to see before considering adding our products into their products.”
