Volkswagen has introduced three new campers at the Caravan Salon 2018 in Düsseldorf, not currently available in the U.S. Available from spring 2019, the brand-new Grand California Crafter campervan has been launched in two length and layout options.

Out & About Live reported that the Grand California 600 provides a sleeping area in the back with a laterally integrated bed. This model can also be ordered with a bed for children in the redesigned campervan roof space, which includes a large panoramic roof.

The Grand California 680 has integrated an even larger sleep area at the rear and offers more cargo space. In this version, the Grand California is equipped with an extended, super-high production roof from the Crafter.

In addition, the limited-edition model “California 30 Years” is on display for the first time at the show in Germany. Designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the motorhome icon, this model features a pop-up roof in contrasting colors: reflex silver metallic or indium gray metallic. Inside, the limited edition model is customized by such features as the new bright-wood cabinet decor.
