KPA, in conjunction with the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, will present a webinar on Sept. 14 focusing on airborne hazards in the workplace. According to a press release, the session will run from 1-2 p.m. Register online.

In 2016, marking the sixth consecutive year, respiratory protection – standard 1910.134 – finished at No. 4 on OSHA’s top 10 violations list. There are many types of airborne hazards, including gases, vapors, mists, fogs, fumes and particulates. An employee’s job may require air purifying respirators or air supplying respirators. Different types of respirators are required by state and federal OSHA in specific circumstances to provide workers with breathable, safe air.

Learn how to protect employees from airborne hazards, and how to select the correct respirator for the job in this free, 45-minute webinar. This webinar will also discuss the importance of fit testing and the employee training requirements for proper respirator use.
