Dealerships are under close scrutiny by regulators on a variety of fronts. Companies can find out what they need to know about sales and finance compliance during a free hourlong dealer webinar on Thursday (Aug. 13) at noon EDT. Webinars are provided by the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association’s (RVDA) strategic partner KPA as part of the array of educational offerings available through the RV Learning Center. Register online.
Sales and finance compliance is more complicated than it seems, especially in the current regulatory climate. Government entities are closely watching dealerships, ensuring that they are complying with regulations including protecting privatized information to the best of their ability and violators are reaping heavy penalties.
KPA’s F&I expert, Jim Radogna, will answer any questions participants have on sales and finance compliance, including:
- What are the most common enforcement actions taken against dealerships today?
- Are there government requirements for sales & finance compliance or is it optional?
- Lenders are starting to push having a compliance program in place. How can they be satisfied?
- How can dealerships avoid potential liabilities?
Attendees can also submit questions to Radogna in advance by e-mailing to [email protected]. Questions may be sent to the same address during the live event on Aug. 13.
Upcoming webinar dates and topics include “Combating F&I Risks” on Aug. 20; “Affordable Care Act Reporting” on Aug. 27; and “Automotive Lift Safety” on Sept. 3. All webinars take place Thursdays at noon ET. These are provided free of charge to educate dealership staff in critical areas where expertise matters.
