Learn how to unravel the complex knot of federal laws affecting employee leave during a free webinar from the Mike Molino RV Learning Center on April 23 at noon ET. According to a press release, attendees will be able to send questions to the expert presenter in advance.

From the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and even continuing benefits under COBRA, there are a several federal laws that can confuse an employer who is not properly informed. FMLA provides leave for qualifying individuals for their own serious health condition or to care for a close relative. Employees injured on the job may qualify under the Workers’ Compensation program. The ADA provides leave as a reasonable accommodation of a qualifying disability. COBRA governs when an employee is entitled to continuation of health care benefits at their cost.
At the start of the webinar, Ford and Harrison Partner Alec Beck will answer KPA’s top five most frequently asked leave questions, and then answer previously submitted and live questions about the subject for the remainder of the hour. Dealers can submit questions in advance by emailing them to [email protected] or simply submit questions during the live event.
If dealers are unable to attend at the scheduled time or want specific employees to experience this webinar at another time, they can register anyway and receive links to the materials for later viewing.
