Western Recreational Vehicles Inc., Yakima, Wash., was recently named as one of the top 150 privately owned companies in the state by Washington CEO magazine.
According to a press release, Western RV’s inclusion in the 16th annual list appearing in the publication’s May issue stemmed from several advancements over the past year, including: the opening of a new 39,000-square-foot customer service facility, introduction of three new product lines and development of an exclusive, patent-pending SmartBed system for motorhome cargo storage.
“This past year has been a busy yet gratifying one for us” said Burk Morgan, vice president and director of sales for the company’s Alpine Coach line.
With regard to future developments, Morgan noted that Western RV would be introducing a new line of fifth-wheel sport utility recreational vehicles as part of its 2007 model year.
“The new line represents a new category for us, and perhaps an expansion of the Alpenlite Villa Series fifth-wheel line,” Morgan said. “In short, we’re very excited about what 2007 holds for Western RV and its customers.”
