Westinghouse Digital Electronics has picked Elkhart, Ind.-based MITO Corp. to be the distributor of its 30-, 27-, 20- and 15-inch LCD TVs to RV and pleasure boat builders.
“This agreement with MITO extends the opportunity for consumers to enjoy the superior digital entertainment experience Westinghouse Digital flat-panel LCD TVs deliver,” said Douglas Woo, president of City of Industry, Calif.-based Westinghouse Digital. “Our compact, thin-profile TVs offer a wide viewing angle, fit well in small spaces and are light enough to be mounted on the wall, making them idea for RVs, boats and yachts.”
Westinghouse Digital LCD TVs allow consumers to watch broadcast, cable and satellite TV, HDTV, DVD and VHS movies, play video games, surf the Internet or work on a PC while watching television. They are “especially appealing to our RV and marine customers where maximizing space is an important issue,” said Dan Maloney, vice president of sales for MITO.
