Winegard Co. has initiated a new rewards program intended to build loyalty among its RV dealers, according to the Burlington, Iowa-based supplier.
“We have a truly outstanding dealer network, and this program is our way of thanking them for their ongoing hard work and loyalty to our company,” said Aaron Engberg, manager of Winegard’s mobile products division.
Beginning in January 2007, retailers can choose between three reward packages, designed to accommodate the smallest ‘mom and pop’ shops to large multi-outlet dealerships.
“We’ve carefully planned the program so that everyone can participate, no matter their size,” Engberg said, adding that participating dealers also will receive a variety of point of purchase and merchandising displays.
Package C, the smallest opening buy-in, is a purchase of three domed satellite TV antennas and a combination of off-air antennas and TV accessories. Package B requires an initial purchase of six domed antennas and a combination of off-air antennas and TV accessories while the highest level, Package A, requires a buy-in of 12 domed antennas and a combination of off-air antennas and TV accessories.
Engberg said the opening order determines the package for the year. Additional purchases made by the target dates of March 31 and June 30 will allow dealers to receive free product and factory rebates up to 5%.
