Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc. announced the appointments of Troy Swearingen as service administration supervisor and Matthew Chavers as a purchasing agent.
According to a press release, Swearingen is responsible for supervising all of the activities of the owner relations and technical service staff that respond to inquiries from owners and dealers regarding the company’s Winnebago, Itasca and Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes.
“Troy comes into his new position with a lot of valuable experience,” said Director of Service Steve Evenson. “His Winnebago background will serve him well in his new position.”
Swearingen is a 15-year veteran of the company and has an in-depth working knowledge of Winnebago products. He has prior experience as a customer service technician, service administration advisor and service administration lead.
Chavers has more than 15 years of experience in a variety of project management and purchasing positions. He most recently worked for Atlas Material Testing as a buyer. Prior to that, he was employed by Navistar Inc., where he held the positions of manager of special projects and supply manager.
“Matt has experience in commodity management, project management, purchasing, and ERP implementation with companies such as Navistar and Nissan Forklift Corp.,” said Winnebago’s Director of Purchasing Trisha Hammer. “Matt is a great addition to the purchasing team.”
