Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries Inc. announced William (Bill) Dickey has joined the company as service district manager for the Northwestern United States and western Canada.
According to a press release, Dickey is responsible for assisting dealers in building a strong service and parts operation with an emphasis on efficiency and customer satisfaction, as well as recommending and promoting training for service and parts personnel. His area of responsibility includes Winnebago’s dealers in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Alaska, along with the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Dickey, 59, has 40 years experience in service related positions in both automotive and recreation vehicle industries. He has over 20 years of experience as a service manager with Olinger RV and Camping World, was involved with the RVDA Service Manager Certification program and has previously served on the Winnebago Service Council. He was also a member of NASCAR and owned D. W. Racing in Portland, Ore. Dickey also owned and operated Changing Years Restoration in Lafayette, Ore.

He will be instrumental in working with our dealer partners and retail customers on service-related issues.”
Dickey is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute, Portland, Ore., with an associate’s degree in engineering. Dickey resides in McMinnville, Ore.
