Under the heading of “Winnebago Redefined,” Winnebago Industries Inc. is assembling its dealer network for a March 8-11 event at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront in San Diego, Calif.
Noting that the meeting is only for dealers carrying Winnebago-branded motorized and towable product, Chad Reece, director of corporate relations for the iconic Forest City, Iowa-based OEM, said the event is an “opportunity to bring together a dealer body and share information about our Winnebago brand, our company, and the products and programs that are included with that.”
“It’s basically everything that you’d want to know as a Winnebago dealer,” Reece told RVBUSINESS.com. “It’s our opportunity to build on the relationships, to share information and more importantly – probably the most important part – is the interaction between our dealers and their feedback to us, the key employees who will be attending. It’s a terrific opportunity to interact with our dealers and that’s our main goal.”
Reece said Winnebago is anticipating a good turnout from the company’s dealer body for Winnebago’s first such dealer meeting in a couple of years. Also, while the company is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and there will be some element of that as part of the dealer meeting, Reece said the event itself is more about business – with some social activities thrown in as well.
“The meeting is about the Winnebago brand, and our relationship with our dealers and the products they represent. This is an event to share information with our dealer body, gather information back, and expose our dealers to some things we’re doing.”
